Matt shows how to make a remove all silence of any show in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QOLTeO-uCYU.
Now, is there a way to do this while keeping the video that goes with each audio, basically making a jump cut version of only the speaking parts of any particular show (in my case, anime) for Japanese learning?

The way Matt showed was good for passive immersion, but I want to do this for sped-up freeflow immersion.

Since I made this video, some community members have created vastly improved software for creating condensed audio! Here are all the different ones I've come across:

The method laid out above would let you do that. substosrs lets you keep the video files, you would just have to do one of two things. Either bring them into a video editor to put all the peices back together, or, load them as flashcards and go through them that way, flipping through one by one.

I don't beleive there is a more up to date, streamlined, modern method that I know ofl
