Hello so im currently learning kana at the moment and for my next steps I will focus on grammar, the anki core 2.3k deck and immersion . I heard that its important to study pitch accent so should I study it once i finish kana and start anki decks + immersion? Also I was wondering as to how I would go about studying pitch accent and if there are any good tips to help boost my learning while immersing please let me know.

You won't really get a lot out of pitch accent study this early on before you get a good grasp on what the language sounds like first. I recommend following this advice from the bot answer on how to learn pitch accent. You can ask the bot really common questions like this that come up a lot in #🤖basic-qa-bot btw

Stage 1 - basic
I recommend just becoming familiar with pitch accent. Understand it as a concept and know what it is to be aware of it as you immerse. This alone will be incredibly valuable even if you don't go any further with it. Such a small investment can really add up over time, so we recommend doing at least this.
