Hey there, not sure if this is exactly the right forum for this, but basically while I appreciate things like Animelon, I'd generally prefer not to use a streaming platform, and would rather use the content I have downloaded. I know there are definitely tools for this on Windows, but I personally mainly use Linux and was wondering if there are any good sentence mining tools for it.

Programs like asbplayer and mpvacious should be cross platform

I use yt-dlp and mpv + Ben Kerman's Immersive. Anki and AnkiConnect are very easy to set up, Immersive has some text-file configuration but that probably won't slow you down. (Ben is an admin and I'm more active than he is, feel free to ask either of us if you have trouble.)
