I'm about to start immersion, day 1. But currently I don't have a personal laptop, so I have to use Anki on my phone. Are the two versions the same? I mean, if I sometimes use AnkiDroid and sometimes Anki on PC (when I buy one), will it be ok?

Yep. The experience is the same between platforms. And when you eventually get a pc, you can sync your progress easily

as long as you sync after every session, clicking "sync" will prompt you to sign in or sign up for an ankiweb account, where your anki data (decks/reviews) is stored in the cloud
