was wondering what people consider 3 hours of immersion. Intensive immersion usually adds an hour to my time immersing, adding flashcards, replaying sentences and such. So my question is if you are actively immersing 2 hours of material but adding another hour replaying words or making new flashcards is that still considered to be 3 hours of active immersion. Or is only consuming media only what counts towards the immersion time. Sorry if this has been asked before but could not find anything. Thanks for reading

If you're doing intensive and spending time doing lookups and making cards synchronously while you watch, all that time is intensive time. So yes, 1 hour of intensive immersion. So the whole 3 hours is considered active. I assume the other 2 hours is freeflow

yeah, I am mostly freeflowing since i only ever do active immersion when more basic dialogue pops up. So if I watched 2 episodes of anime and was able to make 5 flashcards, the act of making the flashcards and looking up words counts as immersion time still. Ok just wanted to make sure.
