#move anki collection.media to another hard drive

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be an easy way to do that without adding launch arguments to the Anki shortcut (https://docs.ankiweb.net/files.html#startup-options) or doing some weird symbolic/junction link trickery which isn't exactly ideal
Damn that sucks. I have windows installed on a small ssd which doesn't have much space. My anki collection is slowly getting bigger and will eventually fill my ssd!
Your Anki collection shouldn't take that much space though if your collection isn't full of a bunch of subs2srs decks and other junk. Even with several thousand cards in my collection with audio and pictures, addons with every single word audio file from JapanesePod101 stored offline, my Anki folder is only 6GB in size. The media collection folder itself is just 1GB. If you're having issues with your storage filling up then I think it might be worth thinking about what might be taking up so much space and if you really need to keep all of those files
