So, (as my mother suggested) I’m taking a lengthy break from learning but I’m not sure on what to do next.

Right now, I have a quite muddy understanding of N5 level grammar and know quite a few words.
My reasoning for wanting to learn Japanese is because I want to become a 漫画家 one day and be apart of the Japanese entertainment industry.
So, I’m in my last year of high school and I’ll be graduating this may, and I plan on going to a private art school overseas.
If everything goes well, I’ll probably want to create connections and build a bit of a reputation as an artist before moving to Japan.

But I really don’t know how I can cram learning the language and immersion into all of that, or if I will become fluent enough to suffice getting a job.

It depends on how much you really value it in your life compared to other things

#

if you really wanna go through with your dream, you’re going to have to make at least some time during the day to immerse if you want to make progress in a decent timespan

#

If you want results faster immerse more, if you don’t care how long it takes you, less

#

Also you can do passive immersion doing menial tasks and stuff which helps
