Hi, not sure if this is asked before. To start, i've been using the core2.3k deck, but after doing some research, maybe I should use a deck for kanji like the tango decks. Should i just stick to the core2.3k to start?

If you already started doing core2.3k deck I would stick to it
Pick 1 deck, go through the 1st thousand words and start sentence mining (maybe earlier if you you feel like it)
The above mentioned decks tango/core2.3k should only give you the starting point. The foundation 1k vocab shouldn't be too different
