#Grading near-misses?

How strict do you think I should be when grading SRS? Specifically, I am curious about the following case which happens to me quite often:

I know the meaning of the word, I know what each kanji means and I almost have the reading correct with one rhyming mistake.
Ex: I see the word 慌てる and instead of reading it as あわてる I read it as あさてる.

Right now I am grading these as "fail" which I feel increases my review time by quite a bit. Should I grade instances as these as "pass"?

i'd say grade as a fail, since it's such a small mistake, once you fail it and redo it that little mistake you made is unlikely to happen again, so the extra review wont really be very tough at all, it'll just be a "oh it's this one that i know the meaning of and all the readings except this one little slip up".

The only reason i think this is because, atleast i found, letting myself of with small errors made me make these same errors again, maybe that might just be me, but if it happens to you to it could make that small mistake a force of habit
