Welcome to the BLAINES discord server!

Please familiarize yourselves with the rules to keep this community safe & awesome!
Depending on the severity, any rule breaking may result in a mute/kick, or permanent ban.
If you need to make a report, please check the #📑reports channel for instructions.

1️⃣ Member-Member Conduct
Members must:
• Respect all other members in the server. Treat others the way you want to be treated.
• Not cuss excessively at, troll, harass, or put down another member.
• Not impersonate other members or staff.
• Not instigate situations & show toxic behavior.
• Not make unsubstantiated claims with the intent to harm others.
• Not discuss drama from other servers. Doing so will result in a mute.
• Not discriminate against anyone based on race, ethnicity, gender (including pronouns), age, etc.
• All members must follow the Discord ToS. Failure to adhere to these will result in a ban/kick/mute.

2️⃣ Staff-Member Conduct
• Staff are to follow Rule 1, & remain impartial and unbiased.
• Staff are to keep cool while handling situations.
• If a mod/admin misused their roles, please report it.
• Moderators can add/change the rules at any time.
• Members can't be held accountable for an action made before a rule was made.
• If you believe a staff member has broken a rule, please DM another Mod.

3️⃣ Real World Rules
• Do not share any personally identifiable info.
• No buying & selling things on the server for real money.
• This includes games, consoles, accounts, and Pokémon!
• You can buy art, but take it to DMs, do not make it public.
• We are not responsible for stolen money.
• Donation links (Paypal, Streamlabs, etc) are not allowed.

4️⃣ Appropriate Content & Usage
• You may post your own content. (ie. music, art, video)
• You may post another person’s content if you give credit.
• You may not post non-shareable Copyrighted content.
• Discussion of piracy is not allowed.
• Discussion of politics or religion is not allowed.
• Discussion on how to hack CFW devices is not allowed.
• No NSFW (Not Safe For Work) content allowed.
• NSFW will NOT be tolerated, an instant ban will be given.

5️⃣ Channel Etiquette & Spam
Spam as identified by our server:
• Any repeated message in close proximity (3x or more).
• Use of copypasta without waiting 10 min.
• Sending messages at a rate of >5 messages in < 3 sec.
• Sending unsolicited links to websites.
• Spam will be met with a mute/kick/or ban.
• You must post content in the proper channels.

6️⃣ Server & Self Advertising
• Advertising is not allowed.
• Do not send unsolicited server invites via DM or in chat.
• Only Subbies & Server Boosters can promote their content in #self-promote
• Offenders of this rule will get a mute, kick, or ban.

7️⃣ Pokemon Trades & Giveaways
• Genned Pokemon are allowed to be traded on this server as long as both sides agree.
• ILLEGAL TRADES (shiny locked/normally unobtainable Pokemon/Items) ARE NOT ALLOWED.
• Keep all trade posts 10 lines or less. Going over this limit may result in post deletion, a warning, or a trade mute.
• Shiny Egg trades are allowed, but trade these at your own risk! We will not provide support in the event of a scam.
• Home Box hosting/account sharing is banned on this server.
• Allowed: Use of Moving Keys for legal giveaways.
• Move Keys to distribute illegal Pokemon is not allowed.

8️⃣ Scams
Scamming definition:
• Any theft of Pokemon by deception.
• Any trading of Pokemon under false or unknown pretenses.
• Any agreement broken by one side that negatively affects another.
• Scams will be met with a ban.
• We will not provide support for scams involving hacked Pokemon, eggs or Mystery Gift/Promo Codes. Trade these at your own risk!
• **We will also not provide support for scams involving IOU trades. ** See trade tip below.

• (Tip: Have your Pokemon on you & ready to trade when offering them to prevent chance of a scam!)
