Something my aunt made me when I was younger. I called it "Pie" as a kid as there was no other name for it, plus the batter could be used to make pancakes.
You could add almost anything just like you would with pancakes. (I am always experimenting with the recipe)
Basic Ingredients
• All-purpose flour(Home-made or locally bought self-rising flour works too)
• Baking powder (Optional) (If you don't have access to self-rising flour)
• Sugar
• Salt (Just a teeny pinch)
• Mixed essence/Vanilla essence/Almond essence (Either one works)
• Grated Nutmeg (Recommended for extra flavour)
Steps
º Combine Dry Ingredients Into a receptacle of any size (Mix)
º Pour water and mix until the batter is smooth and pancake-like.
º Add extra Ingredients (Optional) (Experimental ie. Sprinkles, Banana puree, chocolate etc.)
º Microwave until fully "baked?".
(A fork/toothpick must be able to pass through cleanly)
Final Step
· Spread butter while still hot and serve.
(Depending on what you add to the batter the colour may not match the pictures)
