I wanted to switch my Minecraft resolution to 1280x720 because I noticed that it tripled my frames. However, when I am fullscreened, things that are a little away from me(text and blocks) look very choppy, and when fullscreening in and out, the screen goes black and stays that way for a few seconds. My monitor is 3840x2160 and is set to the native resolution in the nvidia control panel and windows settings, and the refresh rate is set to the max it can be(100). I feel like there's something obvious that I missed, but I checked for the past few hours and couldn't find anything helpful relating to this situation.
