#recording causes bad screen tearing

as it is, i already have light screen tearing but its not noticeable until you try and notice it. however, when i start recording, even if it is in just 60fps, my screen tearing gets way more noticeable and i perform worse. and before you ask yes i do minimize obs after i start recording. ive tried vsync too, still the same results.

if anyone is wondering, my specs are intel i7 9700k & rtx 3060ti w/ 32gb of ddr5 ram. before you say its a cpu bottleneck issue, last year i had a gtx 1650 which wasnt bottlenecked and i had the same issues. i have also tried switching between display port and hdmi, along with updating drivers and even getting a new monitor. someone help please
