What is the problem? Is that the first asset you try to use from the workshop? Do you have CS on steam?

yes, the asset was from the steam workshop, but no i have cs on epic

On Epic, well I have no idea how this could be done then. I am sorry.
Perhaps you should ask on Epic. I have read that there lately were some problems, but perhaps they have been solved now.

It "works" but probably won't be the latest version of that mod. It seems like they're using some sort of archive since they can't get it directly from Steam?

well it’s not just regular mods

those work fine, but it’s the actual roads that don’t seem to work

They, like all local assets, are supposed to be put to the %LOCALAPPDATA%\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\Addons\Mods

roads are assets

you put the .crp (or whatever extension they are) files into the folder (the appdata one) without using any sub-folders

I only got CS on Steam recently and this is how I did it on the EGS version.

also make sure they are enabled in the content manager once you download them
