I'd like to start off by thanking you for your time and efforts in making videos on CS2. I've enjoyed your content for several years.

Now that the asset editor has been released in beta, It's wonderful to see the large number of new assets appearing daily on Paradox mods. Unfortunately, the information available on actually using the editor seems to be quite limited (at least in my humble opinion). Even after reading through the info on the CS wiki and whatever else I've been able to find online, I'm still struggling to use the editor to take a simple model from blender to a working asset in the game.

I would be fantastic if a creator such as yourself would make a simple 'step-by-step' video. For example, exporting model and textures from blender (let's say one of the many free to download models available from Sketchfab or the like), to the actual import and setup in the editor and finally the placement in game.

If this is 'beyond your wheel house', perhaps you'd be willing to forward on this request to one of your many contacts in the 'Cities Skylines community' who is more versed in asset creation.

Thanks again!

If your looking for help with asset creation, Id suggest joining the 'Cities Skylines Modding' Discord where there's multiple channels dedicated to helping with different aspects of asset creation with the top modders to offer advice.

also downloaded content from sketchup, for instance, is more than likely not gonna be compatible with Cities Skylines as poly count, UVs and textures must comply with the specific implementation as described on the modding Wiki. GL

CPP is probably not the right person to create a video Guide on this topic given his lack of personal experience created 3d assets 😇 ❤️ , unless he helps produce one. Yet im sure a more knowledgeable modder will perhaps create one in the future.
