I need a bunch of external storage for a GIS project I'm working on. My mom had this off brand 8tb external ssd laying around that she only paid 67 usd for. Do you think this is safe because that seems really cheap for that much storage?

np, I recently spent abt $100 on a 1tb samsung external ssd when I had a laptop go caput so I saw some of this more recently
