#Pedestrian service point calling too much paths

I move a pedestrian service point and cars will just enter the building, leave the building and circle the block. Sometimes driving on the grass. I need a fix because its hogging up the path units even after installing a mod.

I think replacing them with several smaller ones could be worth trying

possibly also using Transfer Manager mod to release any broken path units after you swap the buildings from the large to the small

well... it stopped them from going around in circles and people can spawn again, but I still maxing out on paths

I can confirm 100% that service points except the small service point have that bug. I don't know for sure if any of the small or large "cargo-only" or "garbage-only" service points produce the bug (though I suspect they might) as I haven't had the need to use them when simply using multiple small generic service points works great

(I currently have 5 small service points for my largest pedestrian area, 4 for another, and 3 for another. No further issues with path units being used up)

I can't remember if the path units released automatically when I swapped to a bunch of smaller ones, but if they didn't the transfer manager mod does indeed work perfectly for that (you have to open the mod settings, go to maintenance, and "release broken path units")

If you've gotten rid of all offending service points, the issue shouldn't come back (at least it hasn't returned for me)

Does the regular service points do the garbage and cargo?

If thats the case ill replace them

as the chart doddibot graciously posted shows, yes the "regular" service points do indeed do both. Right now they are the only ones I know for sure don't cause the path units bug

You could try the small versions of the others if you really find you have an exceptionally high need for cargo or garbage specifically, but I've always been juuuust fine with multiples of the small regular one

Also...regarding my earlier post: referring back to the original discussion thread in Steam forums, I did post that after switching to the smaller ones I did indeed have to manually release the path units using the Transfer Manager mod before the bugged path units finally went away permanently
