Heyo!
So I recently acquired the P and P DLC and the Mid-Century Modern ccp dlc. I love the aesthetics of the latter and love the walkable aspects of the former.
I have an issue where, since the district tool doesn't unlock for awhile, I have a bunch of residential already made, and want to convert it to MCM buildings or self sustaining housing/high density. My issue arise when I rezone the residential. All the houses dissappear and then take forever to come back as the pop vanishes which has a cascading effect through out the city and its economy. Is there a method I could use to prevent this?

This sounds like you are trying to develop residential when you have little to no residential demand. What does your RCI meter look like?

I'd suggest only rezoning large areas when your demand is at least half full for any of the zoning types...
