The skulk catalyst, shreiker, and warden all have sort of bone-like materieal surrounding them, although the texture dont match the bone. it does match with endstone. (this is going on the theory that endermen are infected builders) i can find no other evidence of any mateials from the end showing up in the ancient citys. Does this just mean that it is just old bone?

The devs said its a bone-like material, not necessarily being actual bones. The sculk uses souls to spread, so it likely also uses bodies to create that material, which would be the second thing that composes sculk besides the dark material we see in all the organism
