Ok
There is the Bone Cudgel, a weapon that in fact is gonna appear in MCL as the weapon of one of the piglin leaders
The Master's Katana has existed throughout the ages, appearing to heroes at the right moment.
There sure are a lot of ancient but still effective weapons in the world, although I'd chalk that up as magic preservation
tho why the extra damage to illagers effect, something might be related
Maybe the main enemy of the horde of the bones were illager
wasn't it the villagers
and the heroes
i am just presuming the weapon had some connection to Minecraft legends so
"some connection" the weapons is explicitly used by one of the piglin leaders
Remember: this is a legend, so is not 100% accurate
Futhermore, this is a villager legend
The legend is told by villagers
no
Not by a hero
Yes, and villagers could have been altered stuff so Illagers aren't portrayed as heroes
wouldn't witches and illagers know about it if they are kinda the same species in terms of appearance and language
they probably would know
just slightly different
from the version from the villagers
Maybe they have their versions of the legend, but the point is that we are hearing the villagers version
from ur guess, the illagers fought immensely against piglins using this funni weapon effect
Also, although we have seen explicit illagers yet in Legend Material, we have seen some suspicious gray skinned villagers
Maybe Villagers and Illagers haven't split yet
Let me found the image
find*
I didn't find the specific image i was looking for but this is also insteresting
It shows all the units available in MCL, and one of them look very similar to an illager
It has separated eyebrows, and seems to have gray skin
There they are
Being passed "trought generations" doesn't specify the number of generations
Huh, that is interesting that the Piglins had weapons designed to kill Illagers and that there are suspiciously gray skinned Lagers
