@peak knoll
Everything was working fine for about a month. As a DJ, I was planning to expand my music library by downloading more songs. However, out of nowhere, an issue suddenly appeared, and since then I havenβt been able to download anything. Iβve already updated Spotdl to the latest version and tried multiple troubleshooting steps, but nothing has worked so far.
Could you try doing this inside your command prompt where you download the songs:
pip install -U --force spotdl yt-dlp
Now I have another problem: avasts messed up my spotdl and now I get this error T_T.
I mean, it worked for me, thanks, but now because of Avast I can't download songs.
I'm going to cry; this is what I get for not buying an antivirus and getting a free one.

you can remove all permissions of avast?
maybe on add or remove programs
I mean, yes, I can deactivate it, but I get the same problem and I don't know how to uninstall spotdl or reinstall it.
this is how to reinstall
I think a general remove or uninstall function would work imo
Thanks, brother, I'll tell you if it worked for me.
Uh, I don't know how to reinstall it, because it doesn't appear there.
π
.
you would have to specifically look up how to remove a pip package
i just donβt remember the command
Hey, I already uninstalled and reinstalled it and I have the same problem πππ.
I feel like I'm going to get depressed, a month with the previous mistake and now with a mistake that gives me a horrible headache.
Wait, let me see if uninstalling Python fixes it.
Miraculously, it does work. Thanks for helping me pipe (pipe=brother); I was really frustrated with not being able to download music. Thank you, really.
The previous problem and the new one have now been resolved. Thanks, Pipe, thanks for helping me and for your patience, brother. Good evening, good afternoon, or good morning.
