Way to skip downloading/saving songs that are identical to existing ones?

So I know it will skip songs of the same track with the --scan-for-songs --overwrite skip options, but is there a way to check some hash of the song, to check if, let's say, the artist has a single with the same song as in an album?

Like could I, through the metadata (even post-download) delete songs with the same name an same creator, but different albums?
