#Difference between "열쇠" and "키" ?

Well, first word could be the same as the second word if you look from the english perspective, 열쇠 is the word for Key, like to lock doors or open doors (exg) , but "키" is used to describe height majority of the time, but it could also describe the word "열쇠" as well

And I was like "um...that's kinda weird"

as far as i know for car keys for example, people use (차) 키 more often instead of 열쇠, but in general 열쇠 is used more often or for most things
