Liverpool City Region’s Combined Authority has announced the winners of its first bus franchising process.
Stagecoach has been selected to operate the franchised bus network based in St Helens, whilst Go-Ahead has been selected to operate the franchised bus network based in Wirral.
Arriva will lose its work in the region, but has reassured staff that it will be business as usual, and confirmed that many will transfer under TUPE protocols to the new operators.
