<@&811698768554360902> Recently we've been seeing a change in pattern of how people percept the definition of rare and uncommon workings; so new regulations will be put in from today onwards which will be trialed over the next month. This will determine who loses access to creating these posts and who keeps it.

Rare workings are categorised for vehicles that do a route on an occasion where it breaks its current allocation and hasn't done it more than twice in two months.

Uncommon workings are categorised right under rare where vehicles make a regular appearance on a route in a not so short timespan, we're talking about one or two buses doing the route every month. In better words, you classify a working as uncommon when you start to see a pattern of increased workings for a certain type of vehicle on a route

Curtailments are very often misunderstood as people often post the first curtailment they see. The reason we have added curtailments is so that people can catch out curtailments that do not happen on a regular occasion. If these curtailments are part of a NOE (notice of event), then you should not post it.

Extras are a bit like rares (kinda). This could include buses that could have been transferred to a garage recently to do a route, or are part of a NOE. We originally instated this because of the V### routes that were happening but now it's kinda there for the sake of it.

Spares are quite self explanatory. If a bus is out for extra mileage or is doing a route from another garage without it being transferred, it counts as a spare. If a bus is put on a route during rush hour or school routes, it's a spare.

Special workings are usually kind of freestyled by people because really it is a category for the unpredictable, so it's best you ask other people or even an admin if your post is worth creating.
We won't be instantly taking access away, but if we see a pattern of the same behaviour then we won't hesitate to.
