From Saturday 18 November route 339 will be rerouted in the Fish Island area of East London to serve new residential and commercial areas currently remote from the bus network.
Route 339 will continue to run between Leytonstone and Shadwell but will be rerouted in both directions between Marshgate Lane after the Bobby Moore Primary Academy bus stops and Wick Lane via Bassett Lane, Monier Bridge and Monier Road. Route 339 will no longer serve bus stops D and F on White Post Lane, stop C on Rothbury Road or stops E and OH on Wick Lane. New bus stops will be in place along Monier Road as well as on the eastern side of Monier Bridge.
