I added pg_timestamptz support to pgo recently. What is required to get this into Squirrel? Does it first need to go into pog? I saw https://github.com/lpil/pog/issues/68 which kind of makes me think it isn't desirable in pog?

I could be misreading that issue. Having PG opaquely deal with timestamps with offsets and converting them back is quite convenient when you actually need it.
