Hello, I bought a HyperX Solocast 2 recently, and I'm forced to use the beta app as the original app doesn't support this microphone.

Nearly every setting in the app is either grayed out or doesn't persist.
For example:

  • The mic effects such as "AI Noise Reduction", don't persist after a restart
  • The auto-launch feature doesn't persist and thus doesn't work at all. This makes it so if i forget to start the app manually, i don't actually have any sound from my mic (sometimes unknowlingly)
  • Most other app settings are grayed out, such as: "Start Minimized", "Show Notifications", "Hardware Only Mode", "Automatic Updates", etc. etc. etc.

I get this is the beta, and I'd love to just use the stable version, but my mic isn't even supported in the stable version, so I'm stuck here.

Hey Sammy! As you’ve probably seen from our other comments here on Discord, as well as social profiles, this is still a very early beta, so all those grayed-out options you’re seeing are just placeholders for features that are still in development. They’re there to give everyone a preview of what’s coming once everything is built, tested, and ready to go public.

That said, I totally get where you’re coming from on the mic support side. Let me check in with the dev team and see what I can dig up for you—I’ll circle back as soon as I have more info. 🏃‍➡️
