Title.

I would love to be able to (for op.gg aswell as for the desktop version) filter a profile by the actual Role (support, tank, fighter, adc, mage, etc...) , also considering if a champ covers 2 or more roles like ,
(fighter + mage) then it should display the same hero if only one of these filters is set to active like for instance if you look up only fighters/bruisers then it shall display 'Sylas' for instance even if he is a fighter AND mage, and vice versa of course.

Hello, this seems like quite a challenging idea! 😂 Since not all game modes are role-based, there might be areas that need further development. If possible, could you explain why this feature is important and what makes it appealing? This will help us present your idea effectively when suggesting it to the team.

Hey, first I did not have time to respond abit quicker, but now atleast 😄

I would say, its for sure not groundbreaking if op.gg does not offer that feature BUT, its always good to see, for instance when I check a profile of my friends, I would like to see sometimes from my friends, what role do they play most (Okay, you already provide that sort of with (see image)) but filtering the match history based on a specific role can allow me to quickly see how good is that person performing on that role, especially if he switches roles in his games, like:
(3x toplane, 5x botlane, 2x support, 3x jungle) etc... and if I could filter his match history out by saying:
"Just show me in sequential order, all games played as ADC, no matter the hero there but as ADC role" I could very easy see how he is performing on that role and see for myself if I want him as duo partner for botlane or on other roles and so on...

Thank you for the detailed explanation! It really helped me understand things better. As for the roles like tank, fighter, and mage that you mentioned earlier, even if we revisit that in the future, I think for now it might be a good idea to stick to filtering by positions like top, bot, support, jungle, and mid. What do you think?
