I would love to be able to (for op.gg aswell as for the desktop version) to filter a profile by the actual position (mid, top, bot, supp)

Hello, it seems like you're suggesting a feature to filter by position on the My page. It's a great idea, but we would need to consider a few things. For example, ARAM doesn’t have defined positions, and in FLEX RANKED, even if players choose positions, they often switch lanes among themselves. Do you think it would still be useful if this feature were applied only to NORMAL or SOLO queue?

hmm true that, are you able to get the ACTUAL ingame position AFTER a potential swap?
for instance, I got ADC, but swapped with TOP, so that after the game ends, to be able to recieve the actual role I played on, in that example, TOP was the true position?

If you could get that information, I think the more your website offers data and allows to filter those the more powerful it gets as help-tool for the community and I think it will make op.gg very superior in terms of capabilities,

It seems unlikely that we’d be able to retrieve information about role swaps. Determining the exact position played at the end of the game would be difficult unless the actual player provides that information. 😢
For example, in ARAM, this functionality isn’t provided at all, and in FLEX RANKED, we could potentially display the initially selected position, even if it’s not entirely accurate. That being said, it might be better to focus on providing this feature only for more straightforward modes like NORMAL or SOLO queue, where the data is clearer.
