Scopely just deleted the workshop mode from Stumble Guys, as a whole.

It is huge problem, because people spent hundreds of hours creating maps, and now it’s all gone. That’s not just a change — that’s disrespectful to the entire community. It is very unfair, because they are not showing any respect to our work, time, creativity and effort at all.

It's not just about that. Most of the players had a lot of fun playing workshop maps, because there were an infinite amount of them, and everyone could find something, that they really liked. There were everything, from amazing-looking statue maps to very challenging parkour maps, or you could even practice Block Dash clutches on some maps. It's safe to say that workshop was a big part of the game, and a huge portion of fun came from this mode.

Let's talk about the potential, as well. The potential of the workshop was crazy: for me, the workshop always felt like if it was in beta, because the objects couldn't even change colors, and Scopely promised us the elimination mode, which never actually came. There were only a few objects, and the workshop was very limited in the amount of objects, the time, the designs.
It also had a lot of potential for content creation, which is very important, because it helps in popularising the game. And CCs (content creators) are running out of ideas, most of them have already quit, so a strong workshop, could have helped creators make better videos, and popularise the game.

So why did it get removed? Well, let's see what they say...

They say "it makes room for new and exciting experiences"

But how? How is the workshop stopping a new feature? If they had said that their focus have moved over to other features, but they keep the workshop in the game, that would have been better. But why can't we have 2 things in the game? What kind of feature did it prevent?? There is no way that a small button was preventing a new feature...🤦‍♂️ I would've preferred if they had just kept the workshop in the game, without updates, although I think it was the best feature they've ever added, and it should have gotten updates, because there were still dozens of ideas they could've improved the workshop with, to make it the best for everything, what I have mentioned before...

The Workshop was not just a feature — it was a creative platform and a major part of the community experience.

Please consider bringing it back.

Yeah, that is the golden question. I have been following these channels on discord for more than 2 years.... and I think the answer should be pretty obvious to all. 😐

Pretty much never seen any feedback or suggestion that was actually implemented in the game so far.

There are only two cases that might come close to this, but not really: Tours and the recent punch ability debate.
But...Tours did not actually come back despite all the promises... and the ability power changes are also a whole different story.
And of course they also promised workshop updates a bunch of times....and at the end ( after years of nothingness) all we got is the removal of the mode...in a blink of eye.... out of nowhere...no warning, no nothing. 😒

Graphic Interface Customization

Good evening, Scopely Team,

I've returned to SG after about 5 months and have noticed many things since last time. The first thing I noticed was Customize. I had asked the previous Community Managers to improve the Customize interface so that those who did the graphics on SG would be better. However, now the skin reflects on the floor. This idea is fine, but now when you take screenshots of the skin, the reflection is there, and you can't tell when the skin ends. So, I kindly ask the Scopely Team to remove the reflection or introduce a new interface for players who want to do graphics on the game.

True. Edit: maps only bring indirect revenue. They make the game more fun but don't guarantee revenue. People don't have to pay to play the new maps. This is also why new abilities don't cost Ability Keys and instead cost real money. This guarantees that any one who wants the ability needs to spend real money and not the Ability Keys they earned for free. For example, I get all my keys from the Pass, and I get my gems from New Tournaments. So when new abilities come out for keys, I buy them with keys and not real money

My Feedback & Suggestions

1. Scopely needs to refocus on new maps again. Without new maps, the game gets boring quickly and there’s no fresh content anymore.
2. Scopely should bring back Classic Tours and stop “pausing” Tours.
3. you should release fewer new skins and instead focus on other aspects of the game. There are simply way too many skins already.
4. Scopely needs to stop fixing “bugs” that nobody had a problem with, such as the OG tricks in Jungle Roll, Lost Temple, or Lava Rush.
5. Players should be able to buy every Special Emote with Ability Keys. That would make the game less pay-to-win. Stumble Guys could simply make stronger emotes like Rewind more expensive, but still purchasable with Ability Keys.
6. Permanent licenses for collaborations should be introduced, or old maps should be redesigned instead of being completely removed from the game.
7. Bring back Workshop Mode, or at least archive old maps so they can still be played anytime.

I think these are, for me personally, the most important points right now. What would also be very important is for Stumble Guys to communicate much more with the community, allowing the community to have a say in new features before they are added to the game. For example, Scopely could share what they are planning, and then the community could decide whether it’s a good or bad idea. That would be the best approach

I really like the new update — finally, the old Stumble Pass design is back, and FINALLY there are abilities in the Stumble Pass every month. And yes, the Stumble Pass will now only be available for real money, BUT in return, we get a new ability in the Stumble Pass, which is actually really good.
I also think it’s great that abilities now only go up to level 9. This makes it much easier for everyone to max out their abilities, and I really like that abilities become available for ability keys just one month after they are released!
The only thing I dislike is: WHY a football map? We want a COMPLETELY NEW race or elimination map, not some stupid copy of Stumble Soccer. In Trent’s video, it also says that the map can only be played with a maximum of 8 players, which is also very bad because big streamers will probably never play this map. The map will simply die out like Battle Dash or Rocket Doom.

Dear Stumble Guys Discord Team, I think it’s really frustrating that the new pass can only be unlocked using real money. Please change this back so that it can be unlocked with gems as well. No one is going to buy the pass anew every single season, and for people who don't spend money on video games, this is a real bummer! (If a pass costs about €5 a month, that means you end up wasting €60 in just one year.) Please reconsider whether it’s really such a smart idea to make the pass available exclusively for cash!
