Hello everyone! My name is Rose and I'm here to assist writers with various services such as: editing (developmental and structural), assessments, and outlining.
I've been writing for almost a decade at this point and have had some success with it! With that I've seen a large number of writers that have had potential to make great works but just need a helping hand. Many of those same writers quit out of frustration feeling like writing isn't for them.
Because of this I've decided to try to give back to the community and help authors in an age dominated by AI. Not only that, I do wish to one day run a company dedicated to helping writers flourish, with this being a stepping stool.
For my style, I typically write fantasy and sci-fi but I can and have ventured out into other genres.
Base Costs
All prices shown are subject to discounts based if buying in bulk. All prices also can be switched to word count if need be.
***Assessments ***
Up to 50 pages: $3.00 (USD)
50-150 pages: $6.00 (USD
150-250 pages: $9.00 (USD)
Each 100 page increase will be an additional: $3 ( USD) charge.
Prices may fluctuate. All changes will be posted.
Included in the assessment is the following:
A sit down to discuss the depth of the novel, the plot points, pacing, narrative drive, descriptions, settings, etc.
Outlining
$1$ (USD) Per page. For accounting reasons a page will be considered 275 words.
Included with the outline:
Sitting down together and working on all of the fine details. From characters, setting, world building and setting up all major plot points.
Editing
Copy Editing: A pass for grammar, punctuation, and style: $1 (USD) per 1k words.
Developmental Editing: A pass to help the novel shine in plot, pacing, characterization, and flow.
$1 (USD) per 1k words.
Structural Editing: A pass for helping with structure, clarity, and chapter flow.
$1 (USD) per 1k words.
Line Editing: A deep pass for sentence level style, rhythm, clarity and word choice. This is an intense form of editing. Please DM me directly as this option must be discussed before hand for proper pricing and lead time.
Other Services
Other services could be given based on the needs of the author. Whether that is helping with launches, formatting, or even just general questions for publishing.
While my dream is to eventually run a publishing company. I have not, will not, and do not solicit, or take any requests to publish novels in any capacity.
Now you may ask, why me? Well for starters I know the struggle that all writers go through. From the crippling fear of posting, to the dreaded cycle of editing. Even the worry and fear of talking to beta readers or getting blown up by scammers. I get it. With that being said, I strive to work with you and not against you. Whether that's a change that needs to be made to the edits for free to even working with you in pricing. Above that, I always do my best to make sure that you retain the style you write in. I'm not here to make your work into a splitting image of another. I'm here to help your writing shine in your own unique way.
