you should make the traited egg indication like the computer but 1's and 0's scroll for a bit and and then shows the egg screeen

or you can just add some kind of indication on the status page like on page 1 or 7 with a symbol letting you know that you revered. or you can recycle the animation that you use for evolution so when the egg screen appears it does that swirlly thing and the shows the egg

Once you have virus you can’t reduce it
