Is this a common screen problem for Pendulum Color?

Not super common, but several people have it yeah. May be caused by something behind the screen

Probably.

From what i know, this is happening all over the world. So my initial theory of this only happening to devices that are exposed to humid environments was thrown out the window some time ago.

The issue doesn’t go away from swapping the boards either.

The only fix that my friends have been doing for this specific issue is to swap the screen from a donor device.

Since we don’t know the exact screen to buy replacements for em.

My friends have tried a few but nothing works and almost all of em were bigger. Any smaller, and the ribbon cables won’t fit in the connector.

Can I ask was it like that out of the box? Or did it take a while before the screen started showing defects?

not out of box.. already using the device for almost 1-2week before this happen
