So I bought a dm20 about a few weeks ago. The first battery it came with was fine but this second battery was burned through in about 4 to 5 days. Or something I can do to fix this or do I just need to buy a new one? Is this a common issue?

is it a brand name battery?

It's usually the battery issue. Depending on brand and how long the battery have been kept on the shelf since manufactured, battery capacity may vary.

And in the case of cheap batteries, there might be an issue of extremely low capacity that will make you feel like the battery burn out fast
