My DMX met with some Black Cherry Kool-aid. I popped out the battery as soon as I discovered it got hit, and am now working on taking it apart. I can see fluid around the buttons and on the screen, but I'm hoping it's not too bad inside.

What's a good cleaner for gently wiping off the screen? Does just a bit of windex work, or is there something better?

If the board got hit, what's a good cleaner for spot cleaning the circuit board?

isopropyl alcohol, the higher percentage the better, but you can get the more common 70%

i use it for both

the higher the percentage, the faster it will evaporate

I have 70% for sure, I just didn't want to accidentally melt something.

i've only encountered that with tamagotchi and any sort of rubber grip like on digivices

i've done this for mine several times

and my devices don't seem to suffer any issues

just don't soak the q-tip too much to be sure it dries faster
