@thorny hazel Did you acquire permission from the owners of these mods to redistribute them?
I am not going to distribute it, I want to tell you that it is difficult to apply the mods and a way to make it simpler and cleaner so that users do not always ask the same thing, myself included.
I name them all. Logically I am waiting for your comments.
Since my idea is to make them upload the mod as always. And automate your updates.
Please read all the readme, from the zip.
But you are free to close it.
I just wanted to provide an idea, cleaner.
I took the trouble to make a bandai frimwar auto downloader.
and my idea was to make an auto downloader of each mod. for user convenience.
since in the end we always use all of them

Nothing against the idea at all, but if I am looking at this correctly the zip file you are providing contains the patch files that were created right? People don't have to download them separately? If so, that would mean they are being redistributed, and I want to make sure the authors have approved that usage.
All the bats were reedited to make their application easier and cleaner.
Logically, if the patches were downloadable from a fixed url (bsdiff), it could automate their updating and downloading.
It is very difficult to follow the thread of all the changes, of the mods, currently.
It's a simple idea that I want you to see.
In case I can help them and focus on developing them
Right, so all that being said, you will need to acquire permission from the creators of those patches to be able to use them in this way
I would like to talk to them before, but do what you want, I don't think I'll collaborate with anything else again, I wasted my time, you made me understand.
I don't think it's a waste of time at all, just want to make sure nothing is being used without permission. If you ask the authors and they are all good with this usage, then there is no issue
My concern is how quickly this gets updated after a new release. There's not exactly an easy way to pull updates from Discord, so I doubt you'll be able to grab the latest version all the time.
I dont mind about permission for my brightness mod as pretty much everyone can edit it themselves pretty easily as I was taught how to do it via cyanic.
logically there is the problem of discord, it is practically impossible to automate something.
Or it is uploaded by ftp or direct download from the web.
If not impossible.
I have a web, I can automate the patches... Logically, Discord doesn't allow you to edit and reupload the same file, or does it?
That goes back to the same question, how quickly will it get updated after a new release
Also, I don't want to support someone else's patching method because I don't know how it's going to interact
Having a separate thing will likely split support into different places, which may end up being hard to keep track of
Question, if I make you a mega.nz folder that you can upload the bsdiffs yourself, you can update the files in question.
Likewise, I promise to update them along with you, as soon as I read your changes, I repeat, it is difficult to find out everything... Discord obfuscates you with so many messages...
But come on I can logically adapt to what you tell me.
if I have a direct download link of the bsdiff.
I can adapt it without problems.
I am currently not interested in uploading the mod outside of the Discord. A random folder on the internet isn't nearly as instructive as having Discord and all the other information around it. There's plans for a site eventually, but that's not until after some major feature updates. I also have plans to rewrite the patching process to make it easier to add external mods and apply settings for them.
Ok, I'll take care of updating it. Logically outdated patch is useless and is removed...
I didn't say you could upload it elsewhere
It's fine if you want to direct people to where to download it. I just don't want multiple copies floating around and people downloading an old version and causing confusion
That's not going to happen. I'll be up to date.
