Hi everyone. I apologize in advantage. I read all the FAQ section plus I checked all the dedicated section on humulos.com... but there are still some things that I am not able to understand and I would really appreciate a Little help from who is for sure more experienced than me. I am sorry if you will read some language mistakes but I am not an english speaker.
I have my new vital bracelet coming soon with some bems and I still have some questions about that might be easy to answer for you.

  • First of all what can I do first? Charging it (turned off or turned on)? Have I Always to use the cable with the computer USB or can I charge it with a Wall charger with 5v in output? To work fine the battery need to be always keep charged or I have to charge it when It Is almost empty?

  • Then about the app. In my country It Is not available to download. Can I use Qooapp to download it? Do i Need to create an account or It Is simply to download on the phone? Is It safe to store my Digimon there or will It Be buggy and let me Lost them?

  • For the firmware i think that i understood almost everything. Have i to go on the bandai site, download it on my computer, put everything on a microSD and insert in the device when It Is turned off. Am I right?

Thanks in advantage for your patience

PS: how do i close the post After Is solved?

This is from my own experience and understanding with the Vital Bracelet Be(I'm assuming you're getting this one since you mention you are getting Be memory)

  1. Most bracelets have enough charge out of the box to play but some might need to be charged first. It is recommended to charge using computer usb because it provides a slow charge. If you have a slow wall charger, it should be ok. You want to make sure not to overcharge it when you can. I use a wall charger myself to charge my bracelet with slow charge. The bracelet can be charged while on or off but if it is off, there is no indication of if it is fully charged or not. I like to charge while it is turned on so I can see if it is done or not. You want to try to start charging it at around 20% or less for longest battery life. You don't want to let the bracelet die too much.
  2. You can use QooApp to download. You do not need to make an account to use it but it is good to make a BNID account for cloud save(in case your app save data gets lost, you will be able to recover your digimon stored on the app). It is mostly save to store. The app is unfortunately buggy and some people have lost their digimon(or gotten duplicates). I personally have not experienced any of those bugs yet.
  3. Yes firmware is downloaded, put on a microSD, inserted into device while it is turned off and charging. The device will tell you if the update was successful or not.

Thank you really much. Your clarifications have been really precious to me and I think that now i feel that I understood a lot of things i was not sure of. Only one last thing now, how can i know if a Wall charger Is a slow Wall charger? Just to be sure Is there something written on It so i can be sure... Maybe specific values of input and output?

A computer USB charges at about 0.5A to 1.0A so you want to look for a wall charger that has similar speed. Usually it will say somewhere on the packaging or on the device. The wall charger I have can do 1.0A which I also use extensions and a split charging cable to slow it down a little bit(1.0A is considered the high end of slow charge).

Note that current requirement is a minimum, not an exact number. Pretty much any USB charger will be fine since the VB charges at pretty low current (around 70mA)
