Model: Legion 5 Pro-16ACH6H
Describe the issue:mouse disconnects randomly during high load like gaming, another thing that happend was when i connected both mouses and a keyboard, all usb devices turned off for a few seconds, this happend a couple of times
What have you tried already?: ec reset, different mouse, same mouses work on other laptops, device manager remove device, drivers updated, bios updated, windows reinstalled
When did it start producing the issue: 1 week ago
Did you install new drivers or software?: no

i am facing the same issue, bought it less than a month ago and my controller and even the keyboard randomly stops working for a few secs

are you by any chance using an usb-hub to connect the mouse? also is it a wireless mouse or cable?

for me my wireless peripherals (keyboard, mouse, headset) can act up (disconnect randomly while gaming) when connected to an usb-hub. Plugged in directly in the legion they work fine without issues

This was happening to me as well on my L7 G7. I used a wireless usb keyboard and a mouse and during gaming both disconnected randomly. I had not found the cause but when I switched my mouse to BT instead it started working.

This was happening to me, the issue for me was the external hdd being connected, after a bit of testing around. Plugging in the external HDD to one of the USB C connectors on the side and the mouse to a normal USB worked for me.

From what I understand, correct me if I am wrong, it sounds like the USB Bus runs out of bandwith

same thing happens on my rog scar 18. And yeah I think the system bus gets overloaded during high load
