Describe the issue: Two games now seem to overload the laptop even though according to the recommended specs they shouldn't. The programs will freeze, screen will go black, fans will go to full speed, and then the whole laptop will just shut down. Temps seem to be ok as it doesn't feel any hotter. Most recently it is doing it with Disney Dreamlight Valley.
What have you tried already?: in-game: changing graphics settings, turning off v-sync, changing full screen mode, changing fps. I also tried changing power modes on the laptop. I play other demanding games where it doesn't do this.
When did it start producing the issue: about 5 minutes into playing the games.
Did you install new drivers or software?: yes, the steam game Disney Dreamlight Valley, but it was already doing it on another game, the beta test for Infinity Nikki before installing that one.
Can you provide images/videos to show us the issue: No, when it happens I can't press any keys, use the mouse, or do anything.

What do you mena by temps seem ok?, what are the readings from HWinfo ?
