Just bought a Slim 5 RTX4070 16”.
When I try to open Apex Legends, I cannot click on anything on my laptop monitor. When I drag it to the other monitor, I can click, but the screen is zoomed in so I can’t change the resolution or display settings, cause I can’t reach the “apply” button down below.
What should I do?
The computer is refurbished, motherboard changed but otherwise should be brand new.
#Game window wrong size/resolution problem

check windows settings and make sure the monitor you are actually gaming on is set to primary
and make sure games are actually running on that primary monitor
games running on the non-primary monitor will not behave well
which monitor are you trying to use anyways, the laptop or the external monitor
The external. I set it as the main display now. but the problem still remains
How do I make sure the game is running on that monitor?
temporarily turn off the internal monitor (set windows to output to the external monitor only)
launch the game, hopefully apex properly resets itself, set some settings to apply to confirm, then you can extend monitors again
future games should be able to detect your external monitor as primary and behave correctly
