Hi! I’m trying to install a second ssd on my legion 5 16irx9 but having trouble as it seems I need to loosen the screw to properly fasten it but I can’t. Is it also possible that the SSD (samsung 980 pro) isn’t compatible / too long?

its compatible, you need to plug it into the port first

to be fair, that a bit far from the action
if you dont see the contacts and if its fully seated in
the screw hole will match with screw position
you just push down and screw it in

Does seated mean this right end is fully snapped?

well, the ssd is supposed to be sandwiched between screw hole and screw
so take a guess
remove the screw and get a new one
