Model: legion slim5 rtx 4060 AMD Model
Issue: laptop died unexpectedly while taking an exam (no invasive proctor system was used). When attemping to boot up again the power button turns on for a second and then turns off. If i am lucky I do get a flickering blue light for one second and then the machine shuts off.

I have tried a hard and soft EC Reset. I discharged the system by removing the battery a few times.

I did not install new drivers recently

I will post a video

Feel free to ask questions here or on DM

oof. you've done everything right so far (hard EC reset etc)
you might have to do warranty or otherwise call service

Alr, thanks for letting me know. Do you know how long it takes to get the laptop to be repaired? I kind of need it asap.

i don't sorry. it sounds like you need a laptop for classes, you might have to borrow one or buy something cheap and hope for the best.

Mine does this from time to time. and after it boots i just put it everytime to sleep not fully shutdown.

what works for me to make it boot is remove battery and cmos for 5-10 mins. then reconnect everything charger as well. let the first boot stay like 30mins or so because even if the screen is black its still doing some things in the background. then i force restart and start pressing f2 to enter bios. after booting into bios just save and exist and it should boot. also the fans spin?
