Model: Legion 5 Pro (16ARH7H)
Describe the issue:
When I install my 32GB Corsair Vengeance kit, my laptop takes 35 seconds to boot to the Windows login screen. If I use the original RAM my laptop came with, which is 16GB, it takes around 15 seconds.
What have you tried already?:
- Getting my CMOS battery fixed.
- Updating BIOS.
When did it start producing the issue:
When I upgraded to 32GB RAM.
Did you install new drivers or software?:
Yes, I tried updating my BIOS, but that unfortunately didn't help.
I've asked 3 people that have 32GB from the factory.
-
JSCooks and Marwan1246 said that their laptop boots normally (around 15 seconds).
-
TheZugo told me his device also boots in 35 seconds (while having 32GB from the factory).
Unfortunately, I can't search people by roles or I would have a more definitive answer.
I did consider buying a Samsung 32GB kit (which is what my laptop came with). But I don't know if this will solve the issue.
