When connecting an Xbox Controller to my Legion 5 Pro (Windows 11 Home - Build 22000) it does not turn on or function in any way. The laptop makes a noise indicating the controller is connected via usb; however, device manager shows a yellow triangle on the ‘Xbox Gaming Device’.
Accessing properties returns the following device status information:
This device cannot start. (Code 10)
{Drive Not Ready}
The drive is not ready for use; its door May be open. Please check drive %hs and make sure that a disk is inserted and that the drive door is closed.
This issue only started over the last two weeks and I have since purchased new usb cables and a new controller - the issue persists. All other peripherals (keyboards, mice, headsets) work correctly.
I have checked the windows update history and system integrity via Cmd prompt but can’t seem to pinpoint what’s causing the issue. I imagine it’s something wrong with the device driver?
