Model: Legion 5i Pro

I've had this laptop for a couple months now and I wanted more storage so I did my research and just got a 1Tb Samsung 980 SSD to put in the 2nd slot. I did that and then when I turn it on the screen stays black but the keyboard lights up. After a bit the fans run loud and it shuts off.

I took the new SSD out but the same problem happens. I've tried pressing/holding any buttons I could think of like pressing F2 for bios but nothing changes.
I tried disconnecting the battery and the CMOS battery for a bit and trying cause some people suggested it but it didn't change anything.

I'm very new to stuff like this so I've been procrastinating seeking more help but it's been stressing me out. I didn't think a simple thing would cause such a big issue cause I read that people upgrade their storage and RAM without problems like this.

I wanted to try contacting lenovo support since I have warranty but I couldn't really find an easy way to contact. Idk if there's anything else I could try but this looks like the best place to ask. Thanks.

Though if that doesn’t work you might want to call lenovo
