Long story short, i've had my Lenovo Legion Y720 for a while now, pretty beat up but very fast and good for everything really. I want to install Ubuntu alongside Windows 10, but it requires Intel RST Premium to be disabled on the BIOS (the only other mode is AHCI) but when I do, windows wont boot. Is it because Windows is installed on an NVME drive and they don't support ACHI?

If you change that settings, you would usually need to reinstall all os on the machine.
