Hi guys,

I have a Legion 5 Pro 16ARH7H (CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 6800H, Nvidia 3060).

Whenever I play movies or series from Netflix or HBO Max (I tried multiple browsers and Netflix native windows app) my second display starts to flicker (turns on/off).

I have updated all my drivers to the latest available versions, I have had this problem for more than 2 months (I thought if I wait some time, Nvidia would release an update that fixes this issue).

Also, there is a youtube video that suggests changing the refresh rate on my second monitor - tried it but didn't help 😦

Do you guys have this problem?

Did you manage to fix this?

That's right I have windows 11 22H2, this is the latest firmware from Lenovo Vantage

I have the same issues with a legion 7, amd 5800 ,geforce 3800

my computer monitor will stop for a few seconds sometimes

othertimes like just not, my computer was hanging for over 30 seconds with that 3th monitor on usb being black all the time

running any streaming services causes these issues, also when runnings the apps

Since i got the laptop 9 months ago

it just switched to the next netflix episode and my computer was hanging for maybe over a min this time

i can move the mouse, but the upodates to movements are slow, like 5-10 seconds sometimes between moves

I have chattet to others on this discord with the same issues

at first we assumed it was the AMD tpm issue, but at this point i dont know

just an extra thing, i have my laptop monitor disabled

i have the following setup 3 monitors left a usb to vga, center hdmi, right usb c to hdmi

I have tested with other usb c to hdmi and it still happens

if i remember correct it also happens with no monitors connected, but it has been a few months since i last did that

For me, streaming without the one of the monitor (the one that is connected hdmi to USB c) I have no issue

I figure the computer hanging, is the reason the usb c to hdmi passthrough is the issue, i have seen people say it is sensitive, so that i figure is the problem with that one screen going black.
i just need to figure out the hanging system with streaming movies/tv shows, (netflix, disney, prime and so on)

episode just changed with a few seconds black screen on 3th monitor

but the episode started almost imidialy with some audio issues and a few seconds later the system hang for a second

i can see a cpu low spike and a high cpu one

i think that is only a symptom

#

like maybe the cpu freses for a sec and that causes the hdmi passtrough to fail, i am told it is very flakey

I may be worth mentioning that YouTube/Vimeo/Dailymotion site are working just fine (for me).
Only streaming services are the issue here.
Connection from my display to laptop is Hdmi -> USBC
