#XYZ reward claims

Let’s see what’s up. @civic leaf @next light
@open solar would you be willing to share the tx from etherscan so it can get looked into
sure
in a DM
but what's basically happening, the XYZ flashpool ILV claim button calls the 0x25121EDDf746c884ddE4619b573A7B10714E2a36 contract, which is the Core Pool
Hey @open solar that's how the system works. Are you still having problems? If so, what happened? If you just want to claim and withdraw your stake, you can use the withdraw button in the vesting page which will also make any pending claims for you.
@next light I did that, 3x, it always just claimed core rewards, and not flash rewards.
can't drop screenshots here
so on https://staking.illuvium.io/vesting , I go to withdraw from the XYZ pool, on the modal window, I select ILV and hit withdraw. What happens is, that the core rewards that I am earning from staking ILV (NOT XYZ) are being claimed, and no XYZ gets withdrawn at all.
the expected behavior is that I claim the rewards for the flash pool and withdraw XYZ - this does not happen
the modal even says "Before you can withdraw, you first have to claim your existing rewards in this pool." What happens is that the rewards in this pool are not claimed, but core pool rewards are claimed instead.
the result is, I have clicked withdraw 3x and got 3 transactions mined, and I still have ILV unclaimed from the flashpool and XYZ still in the contract, and my Core ILV stake rewards 3x claimed to 0 pending
What should happen is that you click withdraw once. One transaction pops up for claiming ILV only pool (because I assume you have some ILV in that pool and it needs to clear those rewards before you add more to that pool) then a 2nd transaction pops up for claiming you rewards from the XYZ pool. (Those rewards are placed in the ILV only pool and start earning properly because the rewards were cleared and your earning rate was reset) then a 3rd transaction pops up for you to withdraw your XYZ tokens from the pool.
3 transactions one click of withdraw button. (There may be other clicks to select whether you want ILV or sILV for the two claims mentioned above)
What can happen is that the 3rd transaction (the withdrawal) never happens or never even gets a chance to be approved because there was too much delay between the times the previous two transactions were actually processed.
One way to solve this is to manually set the gwei to the same exact number. Many recommend fast gas. But I’ve heard others say as long as it’s the same gwei it should be ok.
But I hear you saying the issue is the right pool is never used.
Came here for the same issue. I only have XYZ staked in the flash pool. Have already executed a tx to claim the ILV rewards (to begin vesting), but now need to unstake my XYZ. So you're saying I have to submit the purple withdraw button (ILV option selected) and approve 3 separate transactions just to withdraw my XYZ?
Yes and no.
If you don’t have any ILV already in the ILV only pool then you’d only have 2 transactions.
And one of the transactions is for vesting/claiming your earned rewards which will need to be done if you ever want to your rewards anyways. Plus vesting your rewards actually puts those ILV in the ILV only pool so the rewards are able to earn interest as well.
Thanks, I was able to withdraw successfully. Would suggest updating the UI to make this process more intuitive/user-friendly.
Just noticed your name. I have some relatives that are Froom’s
Interesting. Are they ranchers/farmers?
Nope. 🤷♂️
Alright, never got the additional txn , likely because of time between txn being mined. +1 on that this not being clear in the UI that there is going to be more than 1 txn.
All good now.
Yeah it is a bit confusing and hard to know what’s up unless you’ve heard about it elsewhere.
I might just leave my XYZ there until they are actually worth something. or the heat death of the universe. whichever comes first.
but yeah, my transaction 1 clearly took forever, so I never saw transaction 2 or 3.
although i'd already done and paid for #2 on the flash pool page because I assumed i'd need to claim those rewards first.
Yeah this process is pretty annoying and ive wasted more on gas just trying to claim my XYZ out and ive followed the steps correctly multiple times
