Introduction
Illuvium Zero has tremendous potential as both a companion game and a strategy-builder. While the current mechanics work well, there are several areas where improvements could enhance the overall player experience, reduce repetitive tasks, and encourage creativity in land development.
- Quality of Life Improvements
Auto-Collect & Auto-Restart for Extractors/Converters
Instead of manually clicking every 6.5+ hours, allow extractors and converters to automatically collect and restart production.
Alternative option: a “Collect All” / “Restart All” button for batch management.
Benefit: frees players to focus more on land building and expansion rather than repetitive collection.
- Gameplay Features
Land Editor Mode
A system similar to Clash of Clans, where players can temporarily remove all buildings from their land to test new layouts before committing. This encourages experimentation without the penalty of messy trial-and-error.
Building Rotation
Allow structures to be rotated to better fit layouts and optimize space. This was also suggested by other community members and would add more flexibility in design.
- Bug Reports
Converter Display Issue
Some converters display a 150% rate, but when collected, they provide less than 75%.
This issue appears more frequently near extractors of the same type.
It seems to happen more often along the edges of land plots.
Conclusion
By implementing these changes, Illuvium Zero can provide a smoother and more engaging experience. Reducing repetitive tasks while empowering players with layout flexibility will improve retention and enjoyment for both casual and competitive players.
